Opening Event Highlights

For the opening ceremony, the new MPS building was gift-wrapped with a life-size red ribbon and bow, along with a red carpet leading guests through the entrance. The ribbon was adorned with a piece of web substrate as a tribute to the narrow web industry. During the opening ceremony, speeches were given by members of the MPS board in addition to W&R Etiketten owner Jack Willemsz, the first Dutch customer of MPS. Willemsz was invited to push a button of a canon that shot ink onto a vast canvas, unveiling the new MPS Printing Productivity logo. Guests received a tour through the new factory, offices, and the new expertise and technology center where demonstrations of the EF multi-substrate flexo press were presented. The center, which also showcases the EB label press, will be a valuable resource for customers, suppliers and partners for training and collaborating on new label printing applications and innovations.

The event concluded with a networking reception featuring live music from local jazz band One, Two, Thyrza.
