Julius’ month in Arnhem
“My month spent at MPS headquarters was extremely valuable in a number of ways,” commented Urbano. “In addition to understanding the mechanical concepts of the machines and familiarizing myself with how to install, operate and troubleshoot MPS presses, I also advanced my knowledge in all the print and converting innovations MPS has to offer. It was also helpful to get to know my colleagues and gain a better understanding of the many service and support tools available for MPS customers.”

Ready for installations - first at KIPES 2018
Urbano will bring his gained expertise into practice for the first time in August at KIPES (Korea International Printing Machinery & Equipment Show), where MPS will introduce shrink sleeve and wraparound label printing on a flexo press, with an MPS EF-530 (8 colour) flexo press running live demonstrations on Sanki’s stand, the local MPS agent in South Korea.

“At KIPES, I will be responsible for installing and operating the machine during the show,” said Urbano. “I look forward to joining Tim Klappe and our agent Sanki, and showing Korean printers the advancements of flexo with MPS presses.”

KIPES 2018 takes place August 29 to September 1 at Kintex, Seoul, South Korea. Meet MPS at Sanki’s stand 0170.
