MPS’ George Tan to speak about connectivity at International Packaging Printing Forum in China

During the upcoming International Packaging Printing Forum (IPPF) in Shanghai, George Tan (Area Sales Manager at MPS Systems Asia) will speak about the opportunities and challenges of bringing The Internet of Things and Industry 4.0 to the printing industry.
The 2018 International Packaging Printing Forum (IPPF), organized by the Association for Print Technologies (APTech) & Messe Düsseldorf Shanghai, is held in conjuction with the All in Print China show, the largest comprehensive printing show in 2018.
All in Print China is one of the most influential exhibitions in China's printing industry. The exhibition, co-organized by the Printing Technology Association of China, China Academy of Printing Technology, and Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd, has seen six successful sessions since 2003. Over the past decade, All in Print China has been focusing on the frontier technologies of the world printing industry, not only creating an exhibition platform for the global printing enterprises to promote transaction between suppliers and buyers, but also providing prime opportunities for printing professionals to make international exchanges, and boosting the exchange and dissemination of new technologies, hence being named "the Oriental Window of World Printing Industry".
The challenges and opportunities of bringing the Internet of Things to label printing
With an extensive 15 years background in letterpress, flexo, and digital ( liquid toner and inkjet technology ) label printing, MPS Asia Area Sales Manager George Tan will present the “ The Challenges and opportunities of bringing the internet of things, industry 4.0 to label printing. George comments: “I am honoured to share our message about connectivity in the printing industry with the IPPF visitors. Connectivity is a growing trend that will last, but the implementation of automation and data exchange comes with many benefits and also challenges.”
