Company sources have informed us that this Terrassa-based company made the choice to continue working with MPS, a well-known manufacturer of printing machines for the label and flexible print industry, with the purchase of a new MPS EFS 430 which will be operational in January 2020 and is being brought online to reinforce the firm’s production capacity significantly both in response to customer demand and to take advantage of an opportunity to penetrate the MECH market segment (mechanics & electrics, red.). According to our sources, the unit is known for its “reliability and ability to consistently perform in compliance with in-house quality standards for our products,” a feature that is fully aligned with the company’s philosophy of “commitment to providing reliable and high-performance consumables to our customers. Ensuring the homogeneity of consumables lots prevents operational glitches during production (micro-stops).”

This purchase forms part of Egaretiq’s ambitious plans for expansion, which is to become one of the premier label consumable supply factories nationwide in the coming years. With a workforce of 45 employees and an expected increase in 2019 turnover of up to 8 million euros, Egaretiq is currently immersed in a process of expanding its facilities to encompass 2,500 square meters.

The family of EF presses are capable of printing on a huge variety of different media, combining great print quality, high productivity and maximum flexibility. According to Atze Bosma, CEO of MPS, with whom we were able to chat for a few minutes during the recent Labelexpo, “the trade show was a smashing success for MPS, which saw a record number of 12 machines sold, including EFS and EFA flexographic presses, EXL-Packaging and EF SYMJET hybrid equipment. We are extremely satisfied, as this tops our previous record.” Indeed, one of those 12 units was the one purchased by Egaretiq.
