Excellence in Flexography Award Presented Press release The award was presented to FTA South Africa on behalf of Roll On Labels Ltd.   Founder & owner Chris Jeffery proudly showing the  Best  of Show award and the accompanying charter The winning work was recognized after nearly 650 print samples were sorted, reviewed and ranked according to the challenges undertaken and the printers’ abilities to overcome them. Judging took place in Dallas in February 2008, and winners were displayed on-site at Forum. Nine entries took Best of Shows in their respective categories. The awarded Nestlé® Hot Chocolate 25kg foodservice-packaging label was printed  in-line on MPS’ eight colour pressline EF 330 with UV inks from 155-line screen conventional flexo photopolymer plates on a selfadhesive white substrate. Narrow-web judge Barry Thompson of R.R. Donnelly was impressed by the smooth transitions in the Nestlé® label. “The highlights are really clean and the printer does not have build-up in there. It's an excellent demonstration of process control. The printer didn't give itself any leeway. Like one vote the jury presented the Best of Show award for Nestle® Hot Chocolate Label to FTA South Africa on behalf of Roll On Labels Ltd., Johannesburg/Cape Town/Durban, South Africa.
