Labelexpo 2008 SUPRAPLAST and MPS signed Showroom Agreement for Latin America.   At Label Expo in Chicago, SUPRAPLAST from Ecuador signed a press order with MPS, the Netherlands, for their first MPS state-of-the-art multi-substrate flexo printing machine. With the purchase of the most effective printing press in the industry, SUPRAPLAST is further strengthening their leading position in the label and packaging market in Ecuador and neighbouring countries. At the moment, SUPRAPLAST is expanding its facilities and production capacity.  With the acquisition of the EF press from MPS, the company is renewing its equipment and increasing its capacity, while seeking to offer superior printing quality. The press will be equipped with UV driers at all stations. A unique partnership between SUPRAPLAST and MPS has been sealed at the Label Expo as well by the singing of a Showroom Agreement. SUPRAPLAST will make their new flagship available to MPS to show it to their potential customers in the region. The uniqueness of this cooperation between supplier and user is that MPS visitors now can see in their own region the MPS technology working in a real production environment and at the same time having customized demo organized focused on the specific customer needs. In this way MPS will be able to provide potential customers in Latin America the real printing experience and conducting customized test at the same location. Therefore this agreement goes beyond the industry's regular 'open-house' arrangements.  Information on Supraplast SUPRAPLAST is located in Guayaquil, Ecuador.  The company started its production and marketing operation in 1994, and since then it has been printing different types of materials.  SUPRAPLAST is the leader supplier of shrink sleeves to the Ecuadorian market, attending different segments.
